New Music: Asbest – They Kill

  • New Music: Asbest - They Kill

Swiss trio Asbest take a muscular if not confrontational approach to post-punk, noise and shoegaze; with a sound that takes no prisoners with its dissonant, direct energy – check out the video for They Kill to find out more.

Living in some void between Prayers and Rolo Tomassi, They Kill is dark, primal and full of anger – choppy guitar rhythms and intimidating percussion engage in a no holds barred street fight with each other, and a vocal performance that sounds like it’s coming at you straight from purgatory. If you like Idles, you’ll love Asbest.

They Kill is out now and will feature on the band’s upcoming DRIVEN album which will be released by Basel based label A Tree In A Field on 28th September, in various formats including  a limited edition  vinyl format.
