New Music: Bird – Hurricane

  • New Music: Bird - Hurricane

Following the success of her last single Crazy, electro-pop single Hurricane is the second track from Bird’s forthcoming album Inside Out. The single is decked out with driving percussion, grandiose string passages, whooshing pads and hazily honeyed vocal harmonies, all written and performed by Bird herself.

The track lets her effortless vocals take centre stage, entwined with soft strings and silky synthesizers. Bird says the song depicts a fictional affair; “It’s about two people who are not happy with the relationships they have, wanting something more together but knowing it will create a terrible storm”

The single is available on iTunes and comes with mixes from Ash Howes, Tin Tin Out and Philip Larsen. The track has also been reimagined as a string-laden acoustic mix produced by Bird herself.
