Collide categorise their music as being a mix of mix of darkwave, ethereal, and industrial; occasionally tough beats and sometimes crunching guitars combine with the sweetest vocals, all washing over the listener in waves of euphoria and emotion.

Wake Up exemplifies the bands approach and sound, confecting an unholy but rather majestic trinity of Skinny Puppy, Goldfrapp and NIN to make something very new.

It has been 25 years since Collide (aka Statik and kaRIN) met in a Los Angeles club, striking the alchemical combination of like minds and artistic vision that has powered Collide to the point where the band release Color of Nothing which is the bands’ seventh original full-length studio album.

The band turned to PledgeMusic to successfully crowdfund this album, its 16th release, produced through its own label, Noiseplus Music. You can find out more about the band and their music over on their website, with Wake Up and the current album also currently streaming on Spotify.
