Music can often be marriage of musical tastes and personal beliefs, and American musician Dario Margeli is a perfect example of that. With inspirations as diverse as the dancefloor friendly sounds of Chic and the central tenets of Buddhist philosophy, How To Respond is a real voyage of the self.

The track opens with intimations of synthwave and retrowave, before a jazz tinged guitar ebbs and flows through the electronica, giving the track a very chilled feel. With the vocals and lyrics being the main centre of attention, sometimes working as a counterpoint to the reverie-like arrangement, the track comes across as much as an effective meditative piece as it does a self-contained piece of music.

How To Respond is out now and can also be streamed on Spotify as well as Soundcloud. You can find out more about Dario Margeli and his music on his official website.
