Singer, composer, and producer Felix Räuber has explored his past as a child in the GDR (East Germany) on his new single AUTSIDER. You can watch the video from the former frontman of Polarkreis 18 below.
Felix Räuber cites artists like Nils Frahm, Moderat, or Radiohead as musical compass points for his own sound, and you can pick up on that in the infectious blend of pop, rock, and indie of the arrangement. The heartfelt lyrics, partly reflecting on his childhood but focused on a vividly portrayed imagined character, are brought to life by a performance that is raw and passionate but possessed of a bewitching pop sensibility.
AUTSIDER is out now and can be streamed or downloaded on all major platforms, including Spotify and Bandcamp. Why not follow Felix Räuber on his Facebook and Instagram accounts to keep up on news about the man and his music?
