French artist FRAGRANCE. released his Now That I’m Real album late last year via Synth Religion. He’s now dropped a sensory delight of a video for Crawling To The Void, which features on the album – watch it below.

Almost womblike in its soothing and somnambulant tones, it weaves an oddly comforting and amnesiac web of sound and mood, similar to Drab Majesty and TR/ST. The Italo leads and hooks nod towards a club environment, and the lyrics work well within that hedonistic setting. However, there’s enough constructive ambiguity in them and the arrangement to hint at a more complex, self-exploratory meaning behind the song, should you choose to look.
