New Music: K?D – Distance (feat. Blair)

K?d is nothing if not versatile, with his sound ranging from glitchy,  techno-infused bass tracks like 1234 to the more synthwave inspired Birth of The Universe. But with new release Distance, he’s pitched his sound somewhere between both to create what could be called a festival not club banger. Check out the track, which features vocals from Blair, below.

From the opening 70s style funky guitar sound, you know you’re in for a party number, with the more indie and slightly pitch-shifted vocals getting the upbeat vibe going immediately.

A singalong chorus which is guaranteed be stuck in your brain for days glides over an addictive ‘track and hook’ powersynth arrangement that would make Max Martin green with envy. Distance is a song that hits your brain with positivity until the serotonin starts to flow!

Distance is out now, streaming on Spotify as well as Soundcloud and can be streamed and downloaded via all major digital platforms.
