New Music: Kuzo – Luna

It’s a welcome return to the blog for Kuzo and their infectious blend of pop sensibility and downtempo melancholia. It’s a sound that – along with their image – is becoming increasingly refined and sophisticated, as you can see on the Patrick Flaherty directed video for their new song Luna.

Slick and sultry, there’s a real expansive feel to Luna, like watching a film in Cinemascope. Like an interrupted daydream, the arrangement and vocals have a sense of uneasy comfort.

The soft and insistent tones of the track mirror the video’s sense of feeling intimate and personal in wide open spaces, giving Luna a fresh and at times seductive feel.

Luna is out now and can check it out on iTunes, Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon.
