Mikoh is a French-Canadian singer, songwriter and producer. She cites acts as varied as Grimes, The Weeknd, and Linkin Park as influences, which makes for a fresh and interesting sound. Listen to La La Land and you’ll soon know more.

The track, which she says, “reflects her interpretation of social media’s impact on our online culture as well as our real lives,” is a very moody affair. With a vocal melody and performance that feels part-RNB, part-rock, it certainly grabs the listener’s attention and keeps it. Switching from melancholy to suspenseful tones and back, the song captures in both its sound and lyrics that strange sensation where emotions are aroused but the senses dulled by the barrage of words and images we encounter almost every waking moment.
