Rotterdam-based quartet Neighbours Burning Neighbours are back on the blog, following May’s Hesitate with the glorious, punky, racket that is Grace. Check it out below.

The song takes some of the basic building blocks of post-punk and turns them into something more angular and punchy. Sharing an affinity with Wire or maybe early Franz Ferdinand more than the Sisters or Bauhaus, there is an energy and sense of purpose, of focus, that you rarely hear in modern guitar music. It feels coiled and complex, as if at any time the song could lose control, like a snake ready to strike.

Grace is out now and available to stream or download on all major platforms including Bandcamp. Be sure to check the band out over on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter and give them some social media love as well as keeping up with news about the song, upcoming single release and more.

The track is part of a brand new 7-inch vinyl titled Softly / Grace which will be released on the 23rd of January 2020. The band plays MENT Ljubljana on the 6th of February 2020.
