Formed in Belfast, Northern Ireland in late 2019, post-punk/noise rock quartet Enola Gay help revive the heady moments of the province’s punk heyday on their new song, The Birth Of A Nation.

Drawing out the comparisons between Black Lives Matter and similar movements elsewhere, the song is a blistering sonic and lyrical assault. Punk, funk, and focused fury drive the track along, as post-punk meets metal over a Jah Wobble-style bass line. The Birth Of A Nation might not be pretty, but it’s beautiful in its unbridled passion and pulverising sound.

The Birth Of A Nation is out now, so check the group out over on Instagram and Facebook; maybe throw them a follow to keep up with news about Enola Gay, upcoming releases and more.
