Canada’s Fellow Kids (What a great name!) is a pop-rock band hailing from Vancouver. They reference Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Arctic Monkeys as influences, and that indie, funky energy comes through on new song Afterglow.

Navin Sundar’s vocals are the perfect foil for a track that straddles dance, indie, and rock. Able to keep in sync with and enhance the various shades and moods of his bandmates’ arrangement, he provides a focus for not just the song, but the listener’s attention. That White Lies meets The Killers sound the band creates has a real festival feel to it, as the chorus cries out to be sung along to.

Afterglow can be streamed on Bandcamp. You can find information on how to listen to the track over on the band’s Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter accounts.
