Tash Sultana’s career continues to go from strength to strength, progress which sees her preparing for a new album and three gigs at London’s Brixton Academy.  To whet our appetites, she’s dropped a stormer of a new single in the form of Salvation – check out the video below.

The Australian multi-instrumentalist shows her mastery of genre fusion on the track, with the mix of street beats and more chilled, reflective sounds coming together seamlessly. Given the softer rock tones and its heartfelt, emotional and urban edge; Salvation harks back to an era when confessional singer-songwriters were very much in vogue, but there’s enough self-assuredness and self-awareness in the lyrics to give the song a robust and open sense of individuality.

Salvation will feature on the upcoming Flow State album with is due for release on August 31st – you can find out more, including details on how to pre-save the album on Spotify by following this link.

Tash Sultana has already sold out two of her three London dates this September, you can find out more about tickets for that and her upcoming North American tour by checking out her Facebook page.
