New Music: POM – Sway

  • New Music: POM - Sway

POM tag themselves as ‘a three-person adventure into new musical territory’ and with their seamless merging of indietronica, art-rock attitude and live instrumentation, it’s an apt description for their new track Sway. The song layers organic, almost bluesy flesh on an electronic skeleton to deliver a track that has pure intelligence and raw soul. If you harness the raw power of The Gossip and give it an urban, angular, experimental feel, then that’s part of the way to getting across the sex and swagger of Sway.

The band formed through a series of chance meetings serendipitous connections in the L.A. Valley music scene, and through these meetings Jeremy Amato found his future bandmates Valerie Burkholder and Lauren Taler.

They say their musical chemistry was nearly instantaneous, and soon their jam sessions solidified into structured songs. The band have been prepping for live performances and Sway will feature on the band’s upcoming EP which is due out later this year.
