New Music: Tetrahedra – Ether

  • New Music: Tetrahedra - Ether

Australians Tetrahedra fuse an electronic sensibility with their future soul musical roots on Ether. The song features a tricky rhythm, changing tone and metre to come across like the musical equivalent of a joyful child running in the summer sun. It’s a sensation that is reinforced by the playful and abstract Prue Stent directed video.

This video is the first of four from the Melbourne based band’s upcoming visual EP SOMA which was created in collaboration with Prue Stent, alongside Honey Long, Zoe Scoglio and Natalie Abbott.

There’s an artful, experimental element to both Ether and its accompanying video, but what shines through is a real sense of fun in both, which easily transfers to the viewer and listener!

The band say they have spent the best part of a year working on the upcoming EP, and you can find out more about the inspiration behind SOMA in this interview they did with Trouble Juice. Ether is out now, streaming on Spotify and Soundcloud.
