New Music: The Arrogant Afterglow – Admission

  • New Music: The Arrogant Afterglow - Admission

The Arrogant Afterglow (Loredana Ribera and Nathaniel Sokoll-Ward) take post-punk sounds and attack them with melody, a bit of menace and a lot of attitude as you can hear on new, debut track Admission.

Despite their unusual way of working – working on songs independently, picking up where the other leaves off, even if thousands of miles apart – there’s a seamless, flawless air to the song.

It swirls and squeals with an effervescent, radiant energy; with Ribera’s rock vocals proving an impressive foil to the aggressively intoxicating rock-infused arrangement. And that the lead guitar solo? It’s a lethal weapon in its own right!

Admission is out now and will feature on their forthcoming EP will be released in late 2018 – keep an eye on their Facebook and Instagram accounts for more details.
