New Music: The Egg – Deep Sea

  • New Music: The Egg - Deep Sea

The Egg call themselves ‘dance technicians’, playing large scale textural dance music, using electronic and live instruments with video triggers, samples and vocodered vocals to create a sound that’s a perfect fit for summer and beyond. Leading up to the release of their next album and a host of festival appearances, the band have released a new single and accompanying video, Deep Sea.

Their music is influenced by everything around them and inspired by artists such as Pink Floyd, Funkadelic, New Order and Underworld. They deliver a sound that has the attitude of Primal Scream and a dancefloor sensibility that would fit in on DFA Records.

The Egg will be playing  at festivals like One Tribe, Zutopia and Glastonbury this summer, whilst the latter will also coincide with the release of their fifth album, which is coming out soon via Loop De Loop Records.
