New Music: Vogon Poetry – Dangers of Space

  • New Music: Vogon Poetry - Dangers of Space

Based in Gothenburg, Swedish SciFi/synthpop act Vogon Poetry have a new single out, Dangers of Space, from the from upcoming album Life, The Universe and Everything which is due out later this year. With futuristic lyrics of an apocalyptic bent, Dangers of Space sees the Scandinavian trio of Roger Tell, Daniel Önnerby and John Andersson grab futurepop and take it in a different, darker direction but with catchy lyrics and even more memorable melodies, you won’t mind where this seductive synthpop takes you.

The video for Dangers of Space is a five-minute Space Opera inspired by the 60’s Sc-iFi: part MSTK3K, part 70s Doctor Who but 100% tongue-in-cheek fun. Both song and video tell a story of adventures in dark space where space rangers try to reach their destination in time to fulfil their mission.

That’s all you need to know really. The single features remixes by Tolchock, Octolab and Sister Electra amongst others. You can stream the single on Bandcamp and Spotify, which also has more of their music available to stream.
