Dreams Divide

Dreams Divide

David Crout and Gem Davison are otherwise known as UK based electronic act Dreams Divide. From appearing on the electronic scene in 2011 with “Puppet Love”, their début album, and visions of hope for the future, they quickly saw these visions turn into reality.

Within two months from the self release of the album, Dreams Divide’s potential was quickly seen and they were snapped up by Russian based label Glory & Honour, for the physical and continued digital release of “Puppet Love”. They had made their live presence known before this turn of fate, already having played a multitude of showcases and other performances. This was never going to be enough for David and Gem. The music was proving infectious and Dreams Divide fast received bookings for live shows that have seen them climb the ladder to supporting some of the biggest and most loved acts in the international alternative electronic scene.

Having shared stages with such revered acts such as VNV NATION, HAUJOBB, DIE KRUPPS, JUNO REACTOR, KMFDM, COVENANT, BLACK LIGHT BURNS, CLAN OF XYMOX, CRUXSHADOWS, GRENDEL, CODE 64, ASHBURY HEIGHTS, SOLAR FAKE, MELOTRON, SKELETAL FAMILY, SIGUE SIGUE SPUTNIK, MODULATE and many others besides, Dreams Divide have quickly built a large and dedicated fan base, with a live profile that would have taken many years for most bands to achieve.

The combination of talent, energy and hard work has seen them headline their own shows to packed venues and was ultimately rewarded with their highlight of 2012, a booking at the prestigious WAVE GOTIK TREFFEN festival in Leipzig Germany!!! This saw David and Gem blow the roof off at their first international show, to an amazed audience. This resulted in more bookings for them in Germany and the track “Puppet Love” featuring on the cover DVD of German alternative magazine ZILLO. Following this success Dreams Divide were invited to play at INFEST 2014, appearing alongside some of the biggest acts in the scene, this was a huge boost to the band’s live profile. In late 2014, Dreams Divide joined the AnalogueTrash family.

With all these things laid as the foundations, their ever growing fan base and sheer momentum is showing that the future looks more than promising for Dreams Divide…
