Well the news is out! Foundations is back for 2019 and what a line-up AnalogueTrash and Valentine Records have in store for you. Art, music, debates, the return of the Soapbox Sessions, installations and more will once again fill Aatma and The Peer Hat in Manchester’s Northern Quarter on the 1st and 2nd November.
Though happening slightly earlier in the year than previous editions, the microfestival will still retain the DIY eclecticism and energy that has seen it go from strength to strength since first seeing the light of day in 2016.
With appearances from TVAM, Lonelady, a visit from the American contingent of Team Trash in the form of experimental EBMers Vain Machine, fans of electronica will be well catered for.
Rock music and sonic soundscapes will be much in evidence with local heroes like Weimar, Pandemonium and Valentich bringing their edgy sounds to the stage over the weekend. All that, installations including one from Dan Hett in collaboration with Caro C and a whole slew of diverse acts from Manchester and further afield, the 2019 edition is set to push itself into another dimension.
Advance tickets and full lineup details are available via the Foundations Festival website.
