Though only 17, Austin native Alex McArtor displays an incredible sense of maturity and accomplishment on Loving Is The Way, which will feature on her Heart Talk Vol. I EP.

She cites the likes of Neil Young and Led Zeppelin as musical influences and you can hear some of that coming through in the intimate lyrics and rock nuances that flow through the song. Vocally there’s a real affinity with the likes of Patti Smith but with a more raw, lived-in quality I wouldn’t expect in someone so young. Loving Is The Way is a seamless blending of pop hooks, stadium rock theatrics and pulsating electro that’s sure to get your feet moving.
