New Music: Danny Dwyer ft. Lava La Rue – System Overload

Musician and producer Danny Dwyer gives us a fearsome flavour of their upcoming double EP by revealing System Overload, a collaboration with London’s Lava La Rue.

Very evocative of London in the height of summer, System Overload is the perfect soundtrack for falling in love amidst the hyperpop hecticness of modern life. It’s got an infectious indie energy thanks to La Rue’s epic vocal performance, coy and sharp in turn, a real jumble of joyous emotions.

Dwyer shares, “For System Overload, I wanted to do something different and play with styles a little outside of what I’m known for. Me and Lava started the song a while back while they were visiting LA.”

“Lava and I have only met three times, and we always make something special every time. I knew as soon as Lava mumbled, ‘I won’t kiss and tell’ that the song was there and special.”

System Overload is out now to download on Bandcamp and can also be streamed on Soundcloud, YouTube, and Spotify. For the latest news on the double EP, which will also feature Abhi Raju, Roy Blair, and Jeremy Zucker, make your way to Dwyer’s Facebook and Instagram feeds.
