New Music: Dust Cwaine – Little Plans
Perfectly timed for Pride Month, Little Plans is a sweet, low-key, big-hearted song about T4T (trans for trans) love as it revels in its first, fresh blooms.
Upbeat synth-flavoured indie rock with a real sense of giddy, loved-up euphoria in the vocals and lyrics, but also a startling display of emotional outpouring and vulnerability is pure fun from start to finish. If we’re lucky, most of us will experience that disorienting joy at least once in our lives, and Dust Cwaine captures it perfectly.

“Little Plans is a T4T love story that celebrates the joy of trans love,” says Vancouver-based drag performer and indie pop-rock musician Cwaine. “I wrote it in my living room with my friend Charlie Kerr. I was excited about the new person I was seeing, and this potential for transformation and magic seemed to be all around me.”
“I told him I was so in love that every time I saw this person, I refused to wash my hands after they left so the scent would linger. That excitement of new love, and that particular power that T4T love brings, can take the everyday minutiae of your life and transform it into something you would have never thought was possible.”
Little Plans can be streamed on Bandcamp and Spotify. For other listening options and to learn more about Dust Cwaine, head to their Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok socials.
