New Music: Corpseshock – Spiritus Sancti

On Spiritus Sancti, unholy industrial trio Corpseshock encourages us to lose ourselves in the almost religious experience of the dancefloor.

They amp up that religious theme by the repeated invocation of a Christian prayer uttered in classic Latin – In nomine Patris et Filii et Spiritus Sancti. In communion with that presence, they pivot their industrial-aligned sounds into powerful beats and pulsating bass lines that bind together trance and techno DNA, calling us all to worship at the altar of Terpsichore.

Like the band says, “Let go of your sins and make room for new ones.” It’s something the band vividly brings to life in the official video: with its neon crosses, artificial snow, buried DJ decks, and bodies suspended between ritual and rave.
