New Music: Corpseshock – Paint the Walls

Unholy industrial outfit Corpseshock make a quick return to the blog after Spiritus Sancti with the contrasting tones of Paint the Walls.

Where Spiritus Sancti found inspiration and maybe a degree of solace in the recitation of a Christian prayer, Paint the Walls offers no such hope or peace of mind. Primed for Halloween horrors, it treads not so lightly through the world of serial killers, the undead, and unspeakable eldritch beings.

It’s not far off an invocation for creatures from the other side of the veil to join us and have their wicked way with the world. A bruising barrage of beats and eerie witch house synths leave you in no doubt as to what the band are summoning; it’s up to you if you want to take part in the dance and embrace this dark and dynamic celebration of All Hallows Eve.
