New Music: Beach Bønes – Personality Crisis

No-frills musically and no quarter given lyrically, Personality Crisis by Londoners Beach Bønes is a wild ride through pop-punk and early hardcore. Think of the furious speed-driven melodies of Hüsker Dü and the peppy energy of Green Day, that’s Personality Crisis.

Says the band’s vocalist and guitarist Beau McCarthy “[Personality Crisis] is a sarcastic, fun, energetic insult to artists that I used to know who would move city and immediately change who they are, start singing a different genre, dress completely different.”

He adds, “The lack of artistic dignity and ability to ‘sell out’ without a second notice made me laugh. So, I wrote this song as a funny fuck you.”
