Don’t Worry by Dropper

‘Individual’ is a great word to describe Don’t Worry. It’s not quirky or oddball, but rather, its tone marries some captivating and contradictory styles and sounds together.

In terms of melody and structure, the song reminds me of Goldfrapp circa Black Cherry, poppy and instant, but highly angular in tone. An American/Britpop sonic presence pervades the arrangement, Sleater-Kinney meets Elastica, but with a spiky vocal performance and zeitgeist-laden lyrics adding a very modern sheen. Cheap beer makes for some very intoxicating music!

You can pre-save Don’t Talk To Me on most major digital platforms, such as Spotify and Apple Music, by following this link. The album will be released via L.A. label Dirt Dog Records. Keep an eye on the band’s Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram pages for details on a vinyl edition of the album.
