New Music: ELZ AND THE CULT – Faith In Me

  • New Music: ELZ AND THE CULT - Faith In Me

Istanbul’s gothic electro maestros ELZ AND THE CULT are gearing up for the release of their sophomore studio album PSYCHODRAMA which will be released later this year. They have dropped a taster for it in the form of the dark and delicious Faith In Me.

The track is a bit of a departure for them with part of the lyrics being in Turkish, but if anything, that adds to the sense of brooding emotional mystery that lies at the heart of the track.

Coming across as somewhat more electronic than their previous album Polycephaly, it still retains that pulsating and aloof sense of majesty, as well as a sense of bleakly emotional but engaging openness that makes their music such a dark but delightful listening pleasure.

Faith In Me is out now via Ampirik Records, can be streamed on Spotify, iTunes and also has a suitably atmospheric accompanying video. There’s no official release date for the album as yet so keep an eye on the band’s social media, including Facebook and Twitter, to find out more.
