New Music: Kraków Loves Adana – Hiding In My Room

Germany’s Kraków Loves Adana release their Oceanflower album this Valentine’s Day. As a taster for the LP, they recently dropped this reflective animated video for featured track Hiding In My Room – it’s chock full of Easter eggs.

Oceanflower by Kraków Loves Adana

If you’re not familiar with the music of Kraków Loves Adana then you’re in for a treat. With a sound that fits neatly between the dark pop of Sally Dige and the brooding electronica of TR/ST, Hiding In My Room is electropop bursting with rich and emotionally expressive themes. I can’t wait to hear the album, which features contributions from Adam Miller, Ruth Radelet, and Nat Walker.

Says Deniz Çiçek about Hiding In My Room, “This song is a rebellion against depression, isolation, hopelessness. It is also a testimony of me pulling myself out of a very dark place mentally. Music helps. Therapy helps even more. I am proud of how far I have come.”

You can pick up a vinyl copy of Oceanflower ahead of the official release date by ordering it via Bandcamp. Hiding In My Room and more music from Kraków Loves Adana can be streamed on Apple Music and Spotify. Find out more about Oceanflower by heading over to the band’s Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter channels.
