New Music: Lolahiko – Alone

Lolahiko make a welcome return to AnalogueTrash with their track Alone, which sees Lauren Marie and Ike Kawaguchi refine their signature sound to include some more ambient elements, but still retaining the duo’s heartfelt futurist core.

Alone seems Lauren Marie’s voice add an angelic yet plaintive feel to the track, which just broods and bristles with emotion. There’s a majestic sense of longing on the song, it makes me want to hug it and say everything will be better. It’s a worthy addition to the duo’s catalogue of emotional electro.
