New Music: Lucky Lo – Yes To Myself

Copenhagen’s Lucky Lo has a voice that would equally be suited to acoustic folk meditations and smoky jazz workouts, but the infectious pop tones of Yes To Myself are also a perfect fit.

2023 may seem dark at times, but Lo’s bright 80s Christine and the Queens style positive pop enjoins us to find the love within and to persevere. Add it to your feel-good playlist for instant sunshine in your life.

Lo says the song is about “Drawing a line in the sand when people speak negatively about you, starting to believe in yourself, trusting your gut feeling, and making yourself rule!”

Yes To Myself is out now via the expertly curated Tambourhinoceros. The track is available to download on Bandcamp and is streaming on Apple Music and Spotify.
