New Music: SEE NIGHT – Being Good Is Supposed To Be Easy
Grieving brings with it complex and sometimes contradictory emotions. Love, anger, regret, and more feelings coming into play, often simultaneously. Here, singer-songwriter Linda Sao’s SEE NIGHT project looks at that in an unsparing but moving way.
Being Good Is Supposed To Be Easy has a strong 90s quality to it in terms of a grunge-like production and arrangement, but also in the confessional and autobiographical nature of the lyrics.

The lyrics are soul-bearing but don’t indulge in self-pity, instead looking at the wider cultural expectations and consequences that caregivers have applied to them at such a difficult time in their own lives.

SEE NIGHT are currently on a tour of the American east coast, with dates coming up in New York, New Jersey, and Pittsburgh. For ticket news, head over to Facebook and Instagram. Being Good Is Supposed To Be Easy is available to download on Bandcamp.
