New Music: Tremors – The Rush

  • New Music: Tremors - The Rush

Anglo-French electropop trio Tremors are Johnny (vocals), Jordan (synths/programming/production) and Patrick (drums). The three met and formed the band in London and quickly developed their own sound, which riffs on classic 80s synthpop and anthemic stadium rock; as heard on their wonderful new single The Rush.

Johnny’s vocals hark back to the days when Depeche Mode filled stadia with emotive synthpop rather than doomy electro- rock, his voice soaring as the emotional weight of the lyrics work their way in to your heart.

Laden with hooks and a catchy yet understated chorus, The Rush also captures the uplifting essence of old school FM rock radio, broad brushstrokes and intricate musical details giving it a feeling of awe and emotional depth.

The Rush is out now and available along with the band’s previous releases on Spotify, and can be downloaded or streamed via all major digital outlets. The trio will be playing North London’s Thousand Island venue on March 8th – you can find out more about the gig via the band’s Facebook page.
