New Music: YALI – Keep Me Sane

Keep Me Sane is the first single from the upcoming debut EP Why Do Flowers Mean Love? from YALI, a singer-songwriter, pianist and producer from Israel. Check out the song, which reflects on relationships, below.

The Ableton-triggered arrangement has a depth and humanity to it that’s pleasingly surprising for such an electronic-heavy foundation to a song. Its brooding, at times stuttering quality is the perfect foil for a vocal delivery that displays a wonderful range of emotions as love, vulnerability, and pain coming to the fore; as the lyrics unwind their story of dependence on another, and the contradictory feelings that can bring about.
