With their Sous La Peau album already out in CD and vinyl formats, Parisian trio Versari has unleashed this Renaud de Foville-directed video for the crunching, crushing Des Image, the album opener.

The band cranks up the guitars and emotion on this bruiser of a track. Versari’s lead vocals are brooding and sensual, finding a perfect foil in Prod’Homme’s thunderously magnificent bassline. Add in some muscular, metronomic, but vividly vibrant drumming, and this sonic steamroller of a song can’t help but take your breath away.
