New Music: B O K E H – tell me all the things
Hot on the heels of the breezy and fun bop that was encore, new single tell me all the things sees B O K E H take things in a slower and more reflective direction. Infused with the energy of an 80s pop ballad, replete with a smoky and melancholic sax solo, its contemplative message is certain to get you right in the feels.
The video features video footage of B O K E H as a child in New York City, which was filmed by her father and adds to the reverential tone of the song.
Says the artist, ‘This is a track that’s lived with me over many, many years. One which, despite all the changes in myself and in the world, somehow still feels relevant. It’s a muse upon my earlier days spent in church, when I looked up and saw only the clouds, when I imagined the view looking down from the great heights, when I was lost and never found and decided to take a sharp corner out of there as quickly as possible.”

They add, “We are all looking for signs of appreciation. Sometimes, there are harder, more desperate days, and the simple little things that we need are the basics – to be recognised, loved, to have community and purpose – a tireless pursuit. This is what this song is about.”
