New Music: Pictureplane – Weeping Sky

Pictureplane announces the Halloween release of his Sex Distortion album with this suitably gritty video for featured track, Weeping Sky.

Synthwave tangos with Italo and trap-infused electronica on Weeping Sky, downtempo but never downbeat. It recognises the place for a melody as well as setting a suitably retro-futurist mood.

Pictureplane – musician and Alien Body fashion entrepreneur Travis Egedy – slightly pitches his vocals on the track, slowed and with a layer of reverb to match the arrangement, but they retain a human essence to bring the song an organic beat to match that of the rezzed-out bass line.
