Focusing on a scene where the arrival of a woman arouses emotions in men that they may not be able to control, Canadian musician Billylildove builds an atmosphere of suspense and underlying threat.

With the icy delivery and the repetition within the lyrics, and an arrangement that breaks down an aesthetic similar to Molchat Doma and Artemas into elements that breathe intimacy and isolation, it’s never bleak but certainly stands apart. It’s certain to get a positive reception on his upcoming European tour.
