New Music: Dreamwave – Mindcave

Dreamwave scored a coveted spot at Glastonbury in 2023 after a handful of singles and some rapturously received shows in Brighton and their hometown of Bristol.

New single Mindcave demonstrates what all the deserved fuss surrounding the band is about. The accompanying video stars their friend Damo Thorn.

The track manages to be both stripped down and complex, as the seemingly few moving parts in the arrangement groove and glide off each other in an almost Brownian motion. Treading a line between Kosmiche riffs and garage rock beats, this is music that creates a world of its own, but invites you to join the band in their own particular dream machine. Devotees of Frankie and the Witch Fingers, Oees, and Ty Segall will love this. Play it loud and often!

Mindcave is out now via Velvet Echoes and can be downloaded on Bandcamp and streamed on Apple Music and Spotify. The band are currently applying the finishing touches to their upcoming EP.
