New Music: Brittany Bindrim – Fever Dreams

Brittany Bindrim is well known for her role as the vocalist on dark electronic rock outfit I: Scintilla. 2024 sees her releasing music under her own name, in the form of brooding electro banger Fever Dreams. Fans of KANGA, Alice Glass, and Poppy need to check this song out!

Fever Dreams, which she reveals is “…dedicated to the feverish love affair, cyclical heartbreak, and hope of the creative process,” will feature on Bindrim’s debut Velella Velella album and is a refreshing and highly emotive take on a dark pop sound.

The beat driven arrangement shimmers like glacial ice, yet with a sharpness that grabs your attention. The vocals are pop but with a rock, almost gothic undercurrent, as uplifting as they are moving, and with a chorus that is cutting as it is catchy.

Velella Velella will be released via Metropolis Records on the 8th of March and is currently up for pre-order on Bandcamp in vinyl, CD, and digital formats. Fever Dreams and previous single Obelisk can also be heard on Apple Music and Spotify.
