Back in August 2019 we covered Motorway by London/Sheffield synthwave duo From Apes To Angels. Now, Millie Gaum and Andrew Brassleay make a welcome return with Turn the Dark On from their upcoming debut LP, Let The Light In.

A warm, pulsating bassline underpins an emotive vocal performance from Guam on this slow-burning electro ballad that aims squarely at the listener’s heart. Ploughing a similar musical furrow acts like CHVRCHES and Avec Sans, Turn the Dark On balances the heartfelt lyrics with a tune that is chock full of lyrical and musical hooks designed to get your feet tapping.
