Time really does seem to fly in lockdown, but it was last March when we last covered Glass Spells and their track Mirrors. Well, they’re back, this time with the smooth electro of Night Hour.

The band are refining their very signature style with every release. With hints of Ladytron and prime 80’s synthpop like The Human League in the arrangement, the song breathes sophistication and shows they have an ear for an icy hook. Tania Costello’s imperious vocals dominate the song, a willing outsider celebrating life as something to be lived best in the dark of night. Electro with a punk attitude – that’s Night Hour.

You can catch up with Glass Spells over on Instagram and Facebook.  Night Hour can also be streamed on Bandcamp and Spotify, check out their socials to find more listening options.
