New Music: Indigo Dream – A Bittersweet Goodbye

Helsinki’s Indigo Dream bridge the divide between the introspective and anthemic strands of shoegaze on the rousing, appropriately titled, A Bittersweet Goodbye.

Awash with reverb and distortion, the arrangement reflects much of the emotional tumult of the lyrics, as quieter moments suddenly give away to scenes of turmoil.

Passionate and intimate by contrast, the lead vocals bring a sense of indie-pop immediacy to A Bittersweet Goodbye, as they embody the spirit of a doomed affair in four minutes of raw and dramatic music.

A Bittersweet Goodbye and the band’s self-titled EP from this July are available to download on Bandcamp and stream on YouTube Music and Spotify.
