New Music: Jxckson – DROWNING

DROWNING sees Austin-based alt-pop artist Jxckson take elements of RNB, dark pop, and Scandipop and blend them with a highly introspective yet universal lyrical theme. Examining the aftermath of a relationship,  the lyrics are brought to life in vivid, soulful style thanks to the vocal’s empathetic and emotive phrasing.

Says Jxckson, “I wrote DROWNING a few years ago as a demo. It’s about the feeling of being both overwhelmed and numbed by the waves of emotions after a relationship and then trying to find a way to cope. I wanted to capture the disoriented feeling of not knowing what’s going to happen next. I hope it resonates with people going through similar experiences.”
