Octavio Mai are duo Juliette Elbaz (vocals / guitar / keyboards) and Johan Putet (vocals / keyboards / drums) who create a bewitching, electronic take on dreampop with their new single Yeux Turquoise, which comes with and equally intoxicating video.

My French is very patchy to say the least, but it does come across as a love song, expressed through the eyes, the smile and more, journeying through life waiting for moments of passion.

Juliette Elbaz’s vocals create a seductive yet yearning sensation, making you wonder if this is love or something more along the lines of obsession, of wanting more than needing someone. That would certainly explain the drowning metaphors in the video, the notion of being suffocated by love as much as being reassured and warmed by it.

Yeux Turquoise can also be streamed on Spotify and all major digital platforms – click here to find out more. The duo will be releasing their début EP on the 15th of March.
