Originally from Trollhättan in Sweden, Gothenburg-based Rohdin is a music producer who says he makes music inspired by 80s pop-art and underground culture. Noise Under Water will give you a flavour of his charming sound.
The second single from the upcoming Hurt EP has a pulsating analogue feel to the bass line and percussion, resonating with Eno and Kraftwerk’s early experiments in sound. However, waves of warmth shine through the minimal arrangement, adding to the more modern-sounding vocals’ breathy abstractness and giving Noise Under Water an engaging and enjoyably vintage aesthetic.
Noise Under Water is out now, so be sure to check Rohdin out over on Facebook and Instagram, and Twitter and maybe throw them a follow to keep up with news about the song, the Hurt EP, and his collaborations with other artists.
