New Music: Swiss Portrait – Park Safety

Park Safety is the second single from the Swiss Portrait EP set for release later this year, and it’s sounding like the EP going to be a winner for the Glasgow outfit.

Like the recent single Connection Issues, Park Safety finds Michael Kay Terence and his band threading together dream pop and shoegaze via that distinctive Scottish art-jangle presence.

The vocals float over an arrangement that has fleeting shadows of Aztec Camera about it, and to me, a nod or two to a blissed-out Josef K, setting the scene for this eternal sunshine of a tune.
