New Music: Teleforme – Crisis

Teleforme are a post-punk inspired quartet from England’s Thames Delta region. They follow up May’s impressive and intense Empty Faces EP with the bleak and blistering tones of Crisis.

Guttural and visceral, Crisis feels like it had a painful birth into an even more painful world, kicking against the reality that will now be its home. Anguish gives way to anger, which in turn drives the song into something fiery and furious, a manifesto and call to arms in musical form.

The band describes Crisis as “A reflection of the environment around them, as the strain on the population grows stronger, the wealth gap ever rising and hope for young people steadily reaching its demise.”
