New Music: Theresa – Kiss Kiss

Published On: June 11th, 2020|

An advertising music executive by day and an artist in her own right by night, Theresa has recently dropped her fifth single, the bouncing electro of Kiss Kiss.

A blend of the excitement of love and the knowing, streetwise energy of early New York electro, the song is pure joy. Think the hedonism of Icona Pop and the Rapture-era of Blondie coming together in a bright and bubbly synthpop number, then you get something as infectious as Kiss Kiss.

Theresa says about the track, “What is Kiss Kiss about, you ask?!? Well, any song with two kisses in the title should be about…kissing! Kiss Kiss celebrates all the feels and excitement of having a crush. We all have had that someone in our eye we probably shouldn’t be crushing on. Suddenly, this fantasy evolves in your mind and has gone from an unpractical scenario to you and that special someone smooching on a glass table just like the final scene in Sixteen Candles – birthday cake included!  This track is co-written with Mike Cash and Jesse Blum – and was such a blast to make. Just like a crush, I hope that people find this song infectious and fun!”
