New Music: wolfbabycup – closed

Minneapolis duo wolfbabycup have been creating music for a few years now, but have only recently started sharing the results with the world. New single closed will make you glad they did.

The overriding ambience of closed feels influenced by dreampop, but those lush and melodic themes are parlayed into a something subtly gothic and overtly electronic. Haunting and dreamy, possessed of a quiet but undeniable passion, its rich and warm textures will appeal to fans of Phantogram, Pastel Ghost, and Purity Ring.

Discloses the band about the track, “closed is the first single from an album we plan to release this fall and is about soothing your partner when they are experiencing fear, anxiety, or existential dread.”
